Ode to Sophie

Toys have become a much more important part of our lives recently. Gray has started to play with things...ok, most things he simply puts in his mouth...but still, the toys that up to now had been collecting dust are now getting plenty of playtime. 

And with Gray's teething, we got a recommendation from our friend, Tamara, to get Gray a Sophie the Giraffe which is a teething toy. Along with the jumperoo, Sophie may be one of our best purchases. Much cheaper than the jumperoo, but just as valuable it the joy she brings to Gray.  Gray's hand-eye coordination isn't to a level where he can hold a traditional teether and chew on it, which means we usually have to hold it or he ends up chewing on his hand or our's.  However, with Sophie, he can hold her and still chew on her. She's wonderful and he loves her!

All the way to work in the mornings, he can hold Sophie in his carseat and she keeps him distracted and happy the entire way.  He can also hold her in his jumperoo, his bouncy seat, swing, or on his playmat.  Sophie is the best!
