To enjoy the beautiful weather, we met up with Theresa, Joe, Anna, Theresa's parents, Mary, John, Maria, Su, Su's husband, Aiden, Kristy, Kristy's husband, and daughter for a picnic at Burke Lake Park. It was a truly beautiful day! The weather was perfect and the park is fabulous!
It was Gray's first picnic! And it was Maria's first outing on what was her 8 week birthday. All in all, a very exciting day! Before we headed home, we took Gray on a carousel ride...and you guessed it...yes, it was his first.
On the drive home, we couldn't help but admire the area and even talked that Burke might be a good place to look for a new home. This, of course, wouldn't really be until Wil was ready for his "grown-up" job after he retires...but it was still fun to consider.
