One Month Old

It's hard to believe that Bailey would've been one month old today. We would've been going for walks and playing with Indiana. I would've been reading her books and taking lots of pictures of her. Instead I think of her constantly, sit in her quiet room, visit her at Quantico, and hold her and talk to her in my dreams.

We went to see her today and brought her some beautiful pink and white flowers. She has many new neighbors at Quantico. Many heroes who I am sure are watching over her. We expect that her headstone will be laid within the next few weeks.


Also in honor of her one month birthday, we planted the cherry tree that our friends, Kristin and David gave us in honor of Bailey. Ironically, today when we went out to plant the tree we noticed these beautiful white flowers had blossomed. It's almost as if these flowers were a tribute to her on the day she would've been one month old.
